The School Day

Teaching and learning start at 8.55am and end at 3.25pm

The school gates are opened and children are welcomed into school from 8:45am. Children go straight into their classrooms where they are greeted by school staff. The front gate is locked and the register is taken at 8:55am, so please arrive before this so your child has time to hang up their coat and put away their bag. It is important that children are in school for the start of the day, if your child arrives late at school for any reason, you must bring them to the school office to sign your child in.

The school day ends at 3:25pm. The gate is opened at 3:20pm, please come into the playground to collect your child from outside their classroom. Children in Years Five and Six may walk home unsupervised if permission has been given by their parents in writing, to the school office.

It is important that your child’s teacher knows if your child is going home with a friend or another family member; a note in your child’s book bag is the best way to let us know.
