Head’s Welcome

On behalf of the children, parents, staff and governors it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Danbury Park Community Primary School

We hope the website gives you a feel for the work of our school, however we would also like you to come and see us for yourselves. We are extremely proud of the children’s academic work and of their attitudes and behaviour, and therefore we extend a warm invitation to both you and your children to visit the school to see us at work and play!

Danbury Park set in the large and beautiful grounds of Danbury Country Park, our school provides our children with a safe, happy and stimulating learning environment. At the heart of all we do it our vision for everyone to be Wise, be happy and belong.

We offer creative learning opportunities that stimulates, excites and enriches, making your child successful now and for the future. Our curriculum is rooted in National Curriculum, with its ambitious objectives and breadth of content. It is largely delivered through an engaging topic approach, to give context and links and with a view that it will encourage all our children to be confident, resilient, life-long learners.

As head teacher I am proud to lead a team of dedicated professionals who are fully committed to providing the best possible education for all our children. We all aim to reach the highest possible standard in everything we do and in doing this, support children to become confident, independent learners with a thirst to continually improve.
