School Council

School Councillors support the pupils, teachers and leaders in making our school a better place. Our School Councillors are elected at the beginning of each year by each class. They represent their classmates at our meetings to share ideas and suggestions, providing a way for pupils to voice their opinions and have their views taken into account on decisions that impact them.

The School Council works to make improvements to the school. We look around for things that could be better and discuss what to do. Everyone gets a chance to share their views and then we vote on the best ideas and begin implementing our ideas to improve the school.

So far this year the school council have worked together to raise money for charity. For Children in Need this year, we organised an obstacle course for everyone to take part in and the children came dressed as superheroes, gladiators, bright colours and sparkled around the school! We raised an impressive £405 for the charity.

The School Council has helped to improve our playtimes with playbox equipment being available to all classes. We are currently working on suggestions and ideas to revamp our dinner menu options.
